Rolled and Thrown: A Chocolate and Pottery Extravaganza
November 26 & 27 @ Middlebury Chocolates, 52 Main Street, Middlebury, VT
I am taking my annual studio sale to the people this year. On Black Friday and Saturday I will be peddling my wares in Middlebury Chocolates. I will be joined by two potters, Kathy Clarke and Stacey Stanhope.
In the slideshow; truffles by Stephanie Jackson, Vase and Buddha by Kathy Clarke, and Plates by Stacey Stanhope.
Stop by and warm up with hot cider both days and enjoy a delectably free truffle with each purchase. There will be an artist reception Friday night from 6-9. Throwing and decorating demonstrations will take place both days. All of the chocolates are made in house “from the bean”. Plated desserts, hot cacao, espresso, and French press coffee are other temptations at Middlebury Chocolates.

American Pottery Festival Sept. 10 -12
The American Pottery Festival opens tonight in Minneapolis. It is organized and hosted by the Northern Clay Center. This year is the center’s 20th anniversary and they have invited all of the potters who have participated in the previous festivals to send 10-20 pots each. To see the full list of potters involved and the schedule of demonstrations and tours, click the link above. I wish I could be there to hang out, shmooz, and visually absorb all of the great pots that will be assembled. If you can make it, I’ll live vicariously through you.
