Rolled and Thrown: A Chocolate and Pottery Extravaganza

November 26 & 27 @ Middlebury Chocolates, 52 Main Street, Middlebury, VT

I am taking my annual studio sale to the people this year. On Black Friday and Saturday I will be peddling my wares in  Middlebury Chocolates. I will be joined by two potters, Kathy Clarke and Stacey Stanhope.

Stop by and warm up with hot cider both days and enjoy a delectably free truffle with each purchase. There will be an artist reception Friday night from 6-9. Throwing and decorating demonstrations will take place both days. All of the chocolates are made in house “from the bean”. Plated desserts, hot cacao, espresso, and French press coffee are other temptations at Middlebury Chocolates.

Watershed Pots

These are several of the pots I focused on while at Watershed last month. This is the second batch of oil bottles with saucers/stands. I tried several approaches for the bottles themselves as well as their saucers. The serving dish with 3 compartments is one from the soda kiln. The last 2 pieces are the double shot and Americano carafes. At some point in the future these may show themselves in a set of espresso paraphernalia.
